I do support the state's ban on the female harvest in the fall. Typically the female meat goes to packing houses and sent out of state anyway. Incidentally, early numbers from the crab harvest this year are way up. Whether that will continue through the summer is yet to be said. The crabcake recipie sounds like it might one of the kinks they need to work out. Incidentally, they also told me they would start serving hard crabs soon. We went there last night on your recommendation. The service was great and the place seemed nice enough, but the food was medicore at best.
