The heating/cooling is a leeds feature so that is very interesting to see they are still striving for leeds. The trailer belongs to baltimore steel erectors and its been out there since september 2007 I think. We have been waiting for this buildng to get build since our office opened in 2001. Lets go Stelios! The black olive installed foundations and groud source heat/cooling a few years ago. The food is mostly French with a touch of New American and Mediterranean influences. I ordered the steak au poivre in oxtail sauce with fries and asparagus. Delicious, but a little heavy on the pepper. It's a quite spacious interior with 2-levels. Upstairs is more traditional dining and downstairs is a lounge vibe with comfy and intimate seating. We ate downstairs and while it was enjoyable, the electronic music and corner stage with felt curtain at times made me wonder if I should have brought some singles. It's a nice addition to Fells and a suitable low-key alternative to the Pazo scene. Prices are reasonable at $15 to $25 for entrees. The best part? Dessert is served until 1am. We scored a complimentary dessert sampler (custard and various cookies) and it was superb. They're hiring a pastry chef shortly. Definitely worth checking out. Oh yea, apparently it replaced the silver store and Bayou Blues. I ate dinner at Meli this week and enjoyed myself greatly.
