I bought 3 pieces of cake at $7/slice and a cupcake at $3 and wasn't impressed by any of them. The staff was very friendly and the place smelled delicious, but the quality doesn't match the price. We did get to sample the buttercream frosting, which was amazing, but our purchases didn't impress-even after following the eating instructions (let it warm up too room temps).
I'd rather hit up Coldstone if I feel the need for something sweet.I agree with Diana. I bought 3 pieces of cake at $7/slice and a cupcake at $3 and wasn’t impressed by any of them. Tried two cupcakes, both of which were very dry like they'd been sitting out for a day or two or had been cooked several minutes too long. Such a bummer since I live so close and believe $3 would be well worth had the quality lived up to expectations.I have to beg to differ on this one. I think that's about how much they run at The Baltimore Cupcake Factory in Locust Point - http://www.baltimorecupcakecompany.com/. IT seems a good brownie costs about $2 at most nice places these days.$3 doesn’t surprise me.
