I do agree there are a few bad blocks in UFP. However, I think this has been taken care of... The drug gang that control a few corners has been broken up and disbanded. I have lived in UFP since 2005 and it's only improved over the last few years. I agree with the other comment...the WORST problem is parking (lack of and people that don't know how to park by not lining up with curbs so they take up two spaces!). Other than that, I feel safe, everyone is friendly, it's walking distance to so much, close to the park, great restaurants/pubs and cute houses.
