I must not have done well, because it closed down a few years ago. Bateman's hasn't ventured back into the city since then. There was once a Bateman’s at Power Plant Live. It would provide a good dinner option from the fun/craziness of Pickles & Sliders. It also would serve UMD well for lunch and late night meals.I think a Bill Bateman’s would work great at the Zenith. The menu is structured so that you don't have choices and they force you to order what they have without the customer being able to choose certain combinations. This also defeats the whole concept of fondue dinning.Yes, it really is which would not fit in well with the budding theatre district either. Granted, I have never been to one, which is probably why I wont go to this one - if it does indeed open. I have heard it's a long, drawn out, expensive, dining experience.Agreed. I have eaten at the Melting Pot in Towson once and never been back. I found it to be expensive for what you get and the menu was awkward. With the Hippodrome so close and the Everyman coming soon, I would hope for something better than the Melting Pot.I’m very dissapointed, I was hoping for something more along the lines of a Pazo or Tapas Teatro.
